Holiday homes: The Milky Way dwellings

The Dimore della via Lattea (Milky Way dwellings) are four charming cottages set on a hill which overlooks the whole valley of Canale del Pirro and from which you can catch a glimpse of Alberobello, Castellana Grotte, Putignano, Monopoli and Selva di Fasano. The estate of Masseria Torricella has approximately 40 acres of woodland which has been fenced in and transformed into a nature reserve. At its highest point, which boasts an unforgettable panorama, we have renovated an old farmstead.

Dimore della via Lattea is strategically located near the main tourist attractions (Alberobello with its charming trulli houses, the caves of Castellana, the beaches of Monopoli and Ostuni, the zoo safari in Fasano, Polignano a mare and Cisternino are all just a few minutes away by car). Hence, this is the ideal place to go for a nature holiday, in an oasis of tranquility in the heart of Apulia, just a few kilometers from the beach and from the historical and architectural beauties of our land.

what they offer

The cottages have been furnished in a tasteful and elegant manner; each has a sleeping area with a double bed and a couch which can become two comfortable single beds; the living area has: a kitchen with an electric cooktop (to avoid the risk linked with using gas), an oven, a fridge, a dishwasher; the comfortable bathroom has a shower stall with sauna where you can relax.
The common area has a washing machine with an iron and ironing board. The large outdoor spaces enable you to stay in the open air surrounded by nature and taking in the sunlight. The cottages are equipped with Wi-Fi internet connection and satellite TV, underfloor air-conditioning for maximum comfort, a wood pellet boiler and solar panels provide heating and hot water with a low impact on the environment. Tableware, table linen, bed and bathroom linen are provided.
